Pro-TeKt "Silicone Solution"
Pacific Coast Maples uses Dyna-Gro 7-9-5 and ProteKt 0-0-3 exclusively. Since using these two products our trees are noticeably more vibrant and healthy. ProteKt is strongly recommended in Southern and most importantly the Western states because of the hard water. ProteKt increases heat, drought, wind, and cold tolerance. ProteKt also protects plants from root-rot, leaf margin burn, and saline soil conditions.
Pro-Tekt 0-0-3 “The Silicon Solution” supplies higher levels of potassium and silicon to build stronger plant cell walls, providing a ProTeKt-ive barrier against piercing-sucking insects and invading fungi. ProTeKt reduces disease and insect problems, increases stem strength and leaf positioning which improves photosynthesis. Use as a supplement with any fertilizer to provide non-toxic preventative protection against fungal infections and insect infestations. Recommended for all plants.
Application Rates
Soil and Soilless Mixes: Regularly apply Pro-TeKt at a rate of 1:1500 to 1:3000 (1/2 teaspoon to 1/4 teaspoons/gal) depending upon the plants’ requirements.
Hydroponies: Continuously feed Pro-TeKt at a rate of 1:750 (1 teaspoon/gal).
